L&L will provide complete administrative services. Your phone will be answered by your assigned "team" staff member with your association's name, and we will provide your association with its own personal telephone number, voice mailbox and custom voice mail message.
Staff processes, screens and responds to requests from members on a daily basis. Mailings are done efficiently and economically utilizing discounts whenever possible. We work with several carriers to identify the most efficient and economic deliveries possible and utilize mail houses and freight companies for large projects.
Your records and correspondence are maintained, updated and stored to provide easy access, safety and security.
If necessary, we utilize off-site facilities for archiving association materials and financial records.
We work with our clients to develop a marketing program to attract new members. Once the membership benefits have been developed and defined, we will develop marketing materials that promote the benefits of membership; seek additional mailing lists for use in direct mail marketing to prospective members; develop campaigns that include incentives for members who sponsor new members to the organization; and exhibit at conferences in related fields to promote the association, if requested.
L&L Management Services, Inc. will secure sites for Board and committee meetings, prepare agendas in consultation with the president and/or committee chairs, arrange for food and beverages, and staff the meetings. The Executive Director will attend the Board meeting and take minutes. Individual members of L&L staff will be assigned to liaison with each committee, providing individual assistance to the committee chair in accomplishing the committee's goals. L&L Management provides timely issuance of the minutes for all Board and committee meetings, along with a detailed "to do list" containing all items to be accomplished between meetings. We can also prepare Board member manuals that can be used annually for orientation of new Board members. The manuals will include minutes from past Board meetings, a review of committee activities, the Society Mission Statement, reimbursement policies, etc. We have found this is a well-received and valuable tool for incoming Board members so they have an understanding of ongoing association functions when they take office. Conference calls and e-mail are frequently used for enhancing Board communication in our associations.
Websites. We can work with your webmaster to help develop and maintain your web site or we can help identify an appropriate web design company that can meet your needs.

Newsletters. L&L Management has a great deal of experience in writing and editing newsletters. We can work with existing templates, design new publications or assist with re-designing existing publications. We use a print broker in order to obtain the most economical and timely production of all print and on-line publications.
International Academy of Trial Lawyers
Directories. While most of our clients have on-line directories which are kept up to date with every change of address we receive, we still produce hard copy directories for a few clients, and we work hard to produce it as economically as possible.
L&L Management has been able to assist our clients in raising considerable funds to supplement conference revenues. Our experience has indicated that the most effective strategy is to partner with our association leaders to build a campaign that includes a well-defined corporate recognition program that meets corporate objectives and complements the society's mission.
- Follow up to build rapport and gain support: Many corporate solicitation programs are promising at their start but fail to produce tangible gains owing to lack of appropriate follow through. L&L Management maintains on-going dialogue with corporate contacts to ensure continued support.
We've established a long-term relationship with US Banks in Minneapolis. We have a customer service agent assigned to help us with day-to-day transactions as well as advise us of the new products available. We also work with such companies as US Bancorp and UBS Financial Services, Inc. for long-term investments. We have several investment policy templates available for associations to adapt to meet their specific needs.
