What do you really do at work?
As Director of Programs for the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, I oversee its Coalition against Human Trafficking, Youth Restorative Justice Initiative, International Collaboratives, and other programs. As Executive Director of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Foundation, I work closely with the President and Trustees to make sure the Foundation runs as smoothly as possible.

A new city to explore. Family along for the ride. Discoveries all day long.

What’s your Superpower?
Animal Magnetism: My urban home contains a menagerie of rescued pets and my family volunteers weekly at a parrot sanctuary!

What inspires you?
The Academy Fellows do! I have endless admiration for their pro bono activities and the meaningful results they have accomplished.

Her Story:

An intrepid traveler, Jane has visited places all over the globe from the Amazon to Xi’an. She is a country collector (over 40 and counting!) and has spent extended periods of time in South America, Europe, and Asia. She strives to rectify social injustices and be a good role model for her two children.

Jane is a licensed attorney. During her time as an Assistant Attorney General, she worked extensively in the area of non-profit law. Jane also managed a human trafficking program for a social justice organization, and has served on numerous non-profit boards. Her experience in private practice focused on non-profit and criminal law, immigration, and business litigation. Jane earned her J.D. magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, and graduated cum laude from St. Olaf College.
